The Servant Leadership Institute Intern Track will meet on Tuesdays from 8:00 - 9:30pm from August 29th through May 7th. This internship is one part ministry lab (hands-on experience) and one part ministry cohort (small group learning with other interns). This is a high intensity and high commitment internship. It is not a class. This application is the first step in being accepted into the program. Please fill out every question on the form. Once submitted, the intern coordinator of sLi will reach out to you. There will be two interviews - one by phone and one in person. Our desire in this intern program is to join God in "getting people done,” not just "getting ministry done" through people. Thank you for your interest in sLi!

COMMITMENT

While we understand that “life happens,” this internship requires that you are present and ready to commit your time to the activities and work assigned. Throughout the internship there will be 32 cohort meetings, 4 community nights, and required time spent working with your lab mentor. There will also be weekly assignments and readings. The cohorts will be every Tuesday night from 8:00-9:30pm. Missing more than 2 cohorts a semester will hinder you from being able to keep up and stay connected to the rest of the interns.

Please list all of the commitments that you have during the Fall semester for 2023. (job, school, relationship, etc)

Please supply 2 reference letters. A reference letter is a short letter from a former or current teacher, supervisor, pastor, spiritual mentor - who will vouch for your character and ability to be in this sLi intern program. Please send these letters to john@matthiaslot.com. These are required in order to be be accepted into the internship. However, you can turn in the application now while you are waiting on letters.
